Description: RSSS supplied and delivered the columns and crane ties as needed for the Newington Butts project.

“In this 45-storey skyscraper, a flagship of the wider Elephant and Castle regeneration project. The scheme provides 470 new mixed tenure apartments alongside local amenities in a new public square; the tower block is octagonal in shape, providing the majority of plots with corner balconies. The environment was a key driver in the concept, and communal roof gardens with spectacular views, a number of green roofs and 500 bicycle spaces were incorporated from the outset to further the development’s green credentials.

A number of innovative construction techniques were considered for the tower; its repetitive, symmetrical nature gave us scope to develop a bespoke system and a high-speed construction method. The resulting framing system works holistically as all elements contribute to the lateral stability system as well as providing vertical support.”

Description: RSSS detailed and supplied the steel structure to the pedestrian bridge @ Trump Turnberry, Scotland.

Home to the iconic Ailsa, an Open Championship course four times over, Trump Turnberry offers one of the world's great golfing experiences. Ryan Structural Steel Services are very proud to have supplied the support steel to the New Pedestrian Bridge to the 16^th hole on the world-famous Ailsa Course at Trump Turnberry.”

Title: Human Biology Building

Location: NUIG Campus, Galway

Description: Ryan Steel ‘Project Managed’ this contract. They completed all steel detailing, all the site coordination and all the erecting of the mail steel, secondary steel and roof/floor decking at the fantastic New Human Biology Building in the NUIG Campus.

Description: Ryan Steel were working under Ard Precision Ltd on this development. They “project managed” all Steel detailing, site coordination and the erecting of all steel at the New Luxurious Spa at Ashford Castle.

Description: Ryan Steel supplied anf fitted 4250m2 of 225 deepdeck and associated scallops, edge trim and closers. Also, did multiple miscellaneous steel projects including plant room roof, stair steel, AOV trimmers, hopovers, ladders and water tank supports.

Description: Ryan Steel supplied the structural steel frame and the mezzanine floor to the new development in Castlebar.

The Mayo Medical Academy has been awarded the ‘Conservation Project of the Year’ at the recent Irish Construction Industry Awards 2016. The Academy is an NUI Galway partnership with Saolta University Health Care Group and Mayo University Hospital for the training of doctors.
